My name is
Lauren Hasson

and I’m the Founder of Four years ago, I was sitting exactly where you are today.
Even though I won the company wide award 4 times for the mobile app development agency I worked for, in just two years, I was met with “you’re not quite there yet” when I asked for a raise.
Then a brand new male co-worker that I was training complained to me about how much he was making. I was shocked to discover that he was making 50% more than I was when I was at his level.
NOW I KNEW I WAS SEVERELY UNDERPAID
So I did something about it. And…
I not only tripled my salary , I tripled it by six-figures and I make
this additional six-figure amount year-after-year!!!

I learned that while talent and tech skills are critical to success on the job, the number one thing that determines salary is our ability to negotiate.
That’s why I’m peeling back the curtain and inviting you to discover how to negotiate with confidence so you too can earn the salary that you deserve!

Although there are many possible explanations for the pay gap, one explanation could be the gender difference in willingness and ability to negotiate salary.
To put it bluntly:
men are more likely than women to negotiate their salaries.
According to the study “Graduating to a Pay Gap”, this difference may reflect women’s awareness that employers are likely to view negotiations by men more favorably than negotiations by women. But that doesn’t mean that women can’t be successful NEGOTIAT[HER]’s !
Far too many gifted tech women fear negotiation and don’t know how to breakthrough that fear by grounding themselves in data, as I teach in The Negotiat[HER] Course.
Have you ever feared negotiating your salary? I have too!
Because you feel powerless to breakthrough that fear, you begin to accept being underpaid for your talents and gifts.
You start reasoning with yourself, muttering under your breath, “It’s fine, it’s ok, my self-worth as a woman isn’t attached to my net worth…” And you try to make it ok.

Because, deep down, late at night, staring wide-eyed at the cruel red glow of your alarm clock, you know the truth:
While your self-worth as a woman is NOT dependent on your net worth, your willingness to continue being underpaid is a direct reflection of your self worth.
I know this hurts. It hurt me too. Four years ago, I knew deep down that my willingness to continue being underpaid was directly related to my own fear and feelings of unworthiness.
Have you ever felt unworthy? You are NOT alone!
So, I had 3 choices:
01
I could continue to blame myself, and stay stuck and underpaid.
02
I could blame my employers, and stay stuck and underpaid.
03
I could gently and with so much love and compassion for myself, accept that…

While it’s NOT my fault, it IS my responsibility and opportunity to invest in myself and learn how to negotiate to advance my career.

I could choose to take my anger and frustration at being underpaid and use it as fuel to change my life.
of being paid top-dollar for the in-demand tech skills that I bring to the table, the value I bring to my employer and the results I deliver.

when the risk it took to remain tight in a bud
was more painful than the risk it took
to blossom.

I chose door 3 and it was the best choice I ever made.
Now I’m a top paid tech woman living my dreams and how I would define success.
But I’m not going to lie. The road to tripling my base salary was a lonely, time-intensive (not to mention an expensive one!).
That’s why I founded —so you could learn how to negotiate and advance your tech career in less time and for less money.
You don’t have to figure out how to get paid what you’re worth by yourself. You have to guide and teach you!
Your road to advancing your career doesn’t have to be expensive either. I read all the books, took the courses, and even hired expensive personal female negotiation coaches. I learned by trial and error the hard way.
I am peeling back the curtain and teaching you
I have learned about how to negotiate with confidence like a pro, so you can earn the money that you deserve and advance your career.
Just ONE out of the many strategies I teach you in resulted in a company increasing a job offer they made me by $50K!
I am ready and willing to show you the ropes, and walk you step-by-step through the Negotiat[Her] course.
It’s a formula, a blueprint, and if you do the work to apply it with what I teach, you too can earn more money in your tech career, create more influence and gain more confidence.
I’m asking you to choose to invest in yourself today to unlock the door to greater opportunities for yourself and your family.
Consider asking yourself,
-
- How would my life be different if I learned how to negotiate and increased my compensation?
- How would my confidence and security in myself be different?
- What would change about my health? Would I sleep better if I were no longer worried about money? Would I finally have the means to eat better and take better care of myself?
- How would my relationships be different?
- What choices would my family have that they don’t now?
- How would I feel about myself as a role model for the women and girls I love?
If you’re not making the money that you desire in your tech career, I suspect you’ve been holding onto some shame around that. I get it. I held onto shame too.
I’m asking you, woman-to-woman, to give yourself permission to release that shame, and ask for help. We women want to do it all, all alone, don’t we? But how fun or effective is that?
Henry Ford once said:
“Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t—you’re right.”
What do you choose to believe?
I believe that you can!
In fact, I KNOW that you can! I can’t wait to take you step-by-step as you prove to yourself that you can negotiate with confidence and earn the salary that you deserve!
With love,
Lauren Hasson
